Registration Cancellation Policy

Deadline for Cancellation: 31 December 2025

Cancellations must be made in writing to the Conference Secretariat at info_amos2026@amos.org.au. Cancellations received prior to 31 December 2025 will receive a full refund minus a $150 administration fee. Cancellations received after 31 December 2025 will not be refunded. Substitute delegates will be accepted.  Application for refunds in exceptional circumstances will be considered.

Disclaimer

All best endeavours will be made to present the program as printed on this website. The Conference and its agents reserve the right to alter without prior notice, any of the arrangements, timetables, plans or other items relating to the meeting, for any cause beyond its reasonable control. The Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers are not liable for any loss or inconvenience caused as a result of such alteration. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the Organising Committee and the Conference Organisers do not accept responsibility for loss of monies caused by delays. Participants are advised to take out personal travel insurance and to extend their policy to cover personal possessions. The Conference does not cover individuals against cancellations of bookings or theft or damage to belongings.

Presenter Registration

An acceptance of an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the conference. Similarly, no speaker fee is paid to successful participants. All speakers must register for the conference and forward the appropriate registration fee before 15 December 2026.

Student/ECR Registration

The conference organisers may ask for proof of entitlement for those registering at the discounted “Student” rate. If in doubt, please contact the organisers, via email info_amos2026@amos.org.au before registering. Student and ECR rates include AMOS membership for 2026.

Request for funding to attend AMOS 2026

Limited funding may be available for presenters experiencing funding difficulties. Email info_amos2026@amos.org.au for application form.

Limited places

Registration places are limited and will be allocated in the order that applications are received. You will be notified immediately if a place is not available, and any payment made will be refunded in full.

Publication of information

Participant’s names, organisation, position, and email address and abstracts as entered during abstract submission and registration process may be published on AMOS 2026 Conference app, website program, conference contact list or included in conference proceedings.
